This office re-development at Fullarton, involved the design a two storey office building with 225 square meters of floor area each to level, and an undercroft car park. The tenancy fit-outs included a Builderâ€™s office on the lower level and an Architectâ€™s office on the upper level.
The building was to address the street frontage of this prominent emerging commercial area and encapsulate the essence of an Architect and Builderâ€™s office through the use of modern materials including Alucobond cladding, expressed jointed fibre cement sheet lining and precast concrete walls. Occupant comfort is maximized through the use of opening sash windows for natural ventilation, whilst extensive wrap around glazing capitalizes on views to both Glen Osmond Road and the Adelaide hills to the rear of the site.
The building became an opportunity to demonstrate design and construction techniques to our clients through the combination of building materials and interior finishes.
